Disney’s Star Wars Day at Sea

Disney just announced their plans to make “Star Wars Day at Sea” a part of their fantasy cruises in 2016. The Star Wars-themed day aboard the cruise is just part of the itinerary for Disney’s cruises, which also include days dedicated to Frozen, Pixar films, and so forth.

Star Wars Day will begin on Jan 9, 2016, and will also be a part of the cruises that begin on January 23, February 6, February 20, March 5th, March 19, April 2, and April 16.

All of the cruises featuring Star Wars Day at Sea will depart from Port Canaveral, Florida, and will make stops in Mexico, the Bahamas, and the Cayman Islands.

Disney will be going all out to bring the Star Wars experience to life, and on Star Wars Day at Sea, guests will get to experience a wide range of activities usually reserved for a galaxy far, far away, such as: A Jedi Training Academy, character meet-n-greets with Darth Vader, Chewbacca, and others, night clubs decked out as locations in the films, screenings of the movies, Star Wars trivia, and more! Some Star Wars celebrities will even be on board for Q&As and autograph sessions. It will be a day to remember for the whole family, young and old alike.

To get your family aboard a cruise to partake in Star Wars Day at Sea, you will have to make reservations through Disney Cruise’s site. Reservations are expected to fill up quickly, so get on it as soon as you can! We guarantee your family will have an out-of-this-world time!
